the artisan
This glassware collection has a beautiful story. After returning back home in France after 2 years in Syria, Jean-Francois wanted to keep in touch with local artisans. Therefore he created ‘Salaheddin’, a fair-trade company, allowing the artisans to find a new market other than their local one. It also gave them a new vision on the work they were carrying out, granting them new value and appreciation. After more than 7 years of war, the damage in Syria is irreversible. With this collection we we are keeping hope for all artisans joining this project.
Glasses are mouth-blown; therefore every glass is different.
